For Research

The Research Center for Utah State Archives and Utah State History encourages visiting in person for maximum benefit and access to resources. Patrons are required to register with contact information and agree to the following rules:
- No food or drink is allowed in the Research Room.
- All coats, purses, bags, briefcases etc. must be left in the reception area.
- Only pencils (not pens), paper, and laptop computers are allowed in the Research Room.
- Researchers should not mark or write on any research materials.
- The existing order of documents should be carefully maintained.
- Researchers should use particular care in handling fragile materials.
- Scanners are not allowed in the Research Room, cameras by permission only.
- Research Center Staff may examine all notes and papers as you leave.

For Training

See the training schedule for information on the next session planned for government agency records officers and other individuals involved in records management.
Training is held in the Courtyard Meeting Room on the main floor of the Archives Administrative Building. This building is secured access only, so participants will need to use the call box, or commonly staff will be on hand to provide access for scheduled training.
