High School Inspector Annual reports
These records are housed in the Utah State Archives' permanent storage room.
Scope and Content
This series contains a report submitted by the State High School Inspector to the State Superintendent of Public Instruction. The report outlines the needs and performance of the state's high schools in such areas as courses offered, buildings and equipment, training and salary of teachers, and student test scores. The information given is to assist planners and administrators in leading schools to function most effectively.
While the position of High School Inspector existed for over 20 years, the Archives holdings include just a single report. It is not clear if an independent High School Inspector's report was published other years or not.
Annual reports from the Board of Education. Office of Education, Series 84427, include High School Inspector reports.
This series is classified as Public.
