Scope and Content

This series contains a variety of cemetery records, but it is comprised primarily of burial records. The earliest volume in the series is the "Registration of Deaths & Burials", which was apparently begun in 1876, but includes information about deaths and burials as early as 1849. The later "Sexton's Record" and the list of burials include information copied from the earlier records and continue on where the preceding records left off. The records contain the names of those buried in the cemetery, dates of death, dates of burial, and burial location. The older records also may include birth dates, place of birth, parents' names, place of death, and cause of death.
