Scope and Content
One box, old location B105b, contains the in-basket of Taylor Wooley, 1916-1963; in addition to This is the Place Monument materials, it also includes Beason Memorial Chapel materials (he served on both). The record includes a summary of details related to the 1975 attempt by a state agency to exchange valuable State Park property at the mouth of Emigration Canyon for property in East Canyon. The State's goal was to acquire portions of the Pioneer Trail for preservation purposes. Includes history and legal considerations.
