2nd Annual Book Collectors Conference
|
The conference is open to collectors, faculty, library friends,
and bibliophiles. Seminars by leading scholars, researchers,
and staff will vary between Western and Eastern print traditions
between the medieval worlds and the last century. We will offer
opportunities to insect, and in some cases handle, American and
European fine press books, to explore the richly illustrated
literature of Victorian England to see century-old handmade books
and scrolls of Imperial Japan, to enjoy illuminated manuscripts
fashioned by monastic foundations, and to understand the ubiquitous
newspapers
of the early Mormon Church. To register visit the book conference web site
at http://sc.lib.byu.edu/bookconference.
